My 5 Favorite Props from The Comisar Collection

I dream of Jeannie

Like many of you reading this, I am absolutely blown away by James Comisar’s incredible array of classic TV props that Heritage is offering for sale June 2-4, 2023. The collection includes some of the most iconic items in the history of television, including the Cheers bar, Archie and Edith Bunker’s chairs, the directional signpost from M*A*S*H, and costumes from Star Trek, Batman, The Adventures of Superman, and numerous other shows, to name just a few of the nearly 1,000 items.

PC Video Games Showcase Auction

featured video games

Like video games, computer games are coming into their own as bona fide collectibles, similar to comic books, trading cards, and action figures. We’ve got a number of classics in our June 15 PC Video Games Showcase Auction, including such titles as Age of Empires, Call of Duty, and World of Warcraft, but I thought it would be fun to focus here on five media tie-in titles that might get overlooked.

July 6 2023 Sixth Generation and Beyond Video Games Showcase

We love vintage video games as much as anyone, but it’s fun collecting modern titles as well. Our July 6 Sixth Generation Showcase sale features tons of great games for a variety of recent and current consoles, including the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. We’ve also got games for such systems as the PlayStation 2 and Sega Dreamcast, both of which debuted more than two decades ago but still seem relatively modern to us, at least compared to such vintage systems as the Atari 2600 and NES.

fighting video game featured image

At Heritage Auctions, we’re always ready for a fight. No, we’re not violent people (we’re quite peaceful, in fact), but we love a good fighting video game, whether it’s Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter II, Super Smash Bros., or something more off the beaten path. There’s just something about knocking the stuffing out of an onscreen opponent that is super satisfying!

Nintendo 64 Hidden Gems Part 2

Welcome to part two (of two) of my list of underappreciated games for the Nintendo 64. If you’ve only played the more famous games for the console, such as Star Fox 64, Super Smash Bros., and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, you might want to check out these lesser-known titles. Read Part 1 […]

Hidden Gems for the Nintendo 64 Part 1

n64 console

Critics of the Nintendo 64 often say that the console has nothing really good to offer outside of a few triple-A first-party titles like Mario Kart 64, Super Mario 64, Goldeneye 007, and Pilotwings 64. While the system does indeed have its share of stinkers (Superman: The New Adventures, anyone?), there are a number of […]
