About Evan Masingill
Since a young age, Evan has been actively exploring his unending passion for vintage video games. For over ten years, he’s strived to learn all he can about gaming history through playing, collecting, researching, and being active in the community. Most of his early knowledge originated from his time spent on video game collecting forums and his experience hunting for games in the North Texas area. You’d often find him frequenting thrift stores, flea markets, game stores, and conventions as he sought out the best deals. His introduction to working in the video game scene involved a job at a local video game store where he worked as a video game Repair Manager for two years. Evan’s passion for electronics and technology drove him to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology in 2021 shortly before joining Heritage Auctions’ video game team. He began working primarily as a cataloger and has since worked his way into becoming a consignment director. Evan currently puts his expansive knowledge of retro video games and grading to use by working directly with clients and helping them most effectively bring their collectibles to market.
