Alice!!!!!!!!!!!!
With the perfectly-ghoulish visage to match his sinister snarl and macabre theatrics, Alice Cooper has ruled the shock rock roost for fifty-plus years. While the elder statesman of goth, glam, punk, and metal is a revered icon of rock to this day, Cooper (born Vincent Damon Furnier on February 4, 1948 in Detroit) has enjoyed two periods of massive mainstream success.
The first was in the early-to-mid 1970s during the classic Alice Cooper Band/Welcome to My Nightmare era, while the second was from late 1980s through 1992. That period is best remembered for Cooper’s killer addition to the soundtrack from the sixth installment of the Friday the 13th film franchise, “He’s Back (The Man Behind the Mask)”, the monster hit Trash LP, and an appearance in the beloved Mike Myers/Dana Carvey comedy Wayne’s World.
